PM Urges for More Attention to Be Given to Teachers

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has called on provincial governors and other stakeholders to pay more attention to building houses for teachers so there is more incentive for the best educators to go teach at schools in the provinces.

The Prime Minister stated that Cambodia has now reached the stage of having at least one secondary school in each commune, so what now needs more attention is building accommodation for teachers.

He made this statement during the graduation ceremony for students of the National Institute of Education on Tuesday morning, 25 April 2023.
